One IPL, so many headaches!!

One IPL, so many headaches!!

Sometimes, in India, certain things go beyond the level you'd think. From the day IPL 3 auctions started and till today, there are issues, issues and nothing else. Period.

First to start off with Pakistani players not being picked up by the franchisees. There were irrelevant statements from both the board and the franchisee owners. Initially they said, there was no pressure from anyone on not picking up Pakistani cricketers, it was just about game and the availability(looks like they didn't know that whole of Pakistan team will be available for the season) of the players. Some owners went on to make statements like "We were very much clear in what we want and what we don't want". Then started the war of words between Pakistan players, their cricket board, BCCI, Team owners, Indian Govt, Pak Govt. During this is when, SRK made a statement, which irked the great saviors of Mumbai.

The saviors of Mumbai, wanted SRK to apologize for the statment or else they would not allow his next blockbuster release in the city. They also had other plans in mind, that they will not allow Australian players to play in Mumbai during IPL 3 (how worse it can get), can someone ban these guys from India :). So, some cricketing big wigs met with the seniors of the Saviors and sorted out the issue with Aussies playing, but SRK has to still apologize for the movie to be released, but we are not getting into it this topic deep.

Second - Kings XI Punjab sold to Hero Honda (how worse media can get), phew, within a day KXIP was sold to Hero Honda and then bought back by original owners. Lalit Modi tweets that this is just a rumor and informs that the new in IPLT20.com is the only official source of IPl news and rest all are rumors.

Third - IPL planned to skip all the Hyderabad matches, due to the ongoing Telangana issue (I'm planning to start a fast till death, cause I want my own state in my name, anyone who wants a new state can join me ;)). Ahdhra minister got pissed off with the news of IPL being pulled away from Hyderabad, so, they requested Deccan Chargers team not to participate in the tournament, if the matches are not being held in Hyderabad. This is still on going and not sure what is going to happen.

These are just highlights of the headaches :)

For god sake, it's just a game and approach it in a sportsmanship, spirit guys. Please don't politicize these issues and hype it to the extent, that people gets tired of the game.

2 more...

WoW!! Wot a day to continue from the last post....

Just like I said "A new beginning" in the last post, it has begun!! Hell...yeah...2 more medals to the Indian tally. This has never happened before in Olympics.

After Bindra....too many hopes!!
Poor Rathore, too much pressure on him to win a medal. Over hyped Sania Mirza and the tennis duos Hesh&Paes, never give up Anju Bobby George...all failed..crashed the hopes!! Saina was really amazin in badminton...groom her...she s sure a medal prospect in future.

Then came the brilliant boxing kings of India... all the 3 who qualified for round of 16 made our country proud. Come on Indian Govt!! time to start looking at other sports too.

Sushil Kumar was unexpected, but he took a bronze home...man that guy is amazing, cool...composed...no pressure..he deserves every bit of it. You made India proud man...we are proud of you.

It was actually a good day for India in Beijing. One bronze won and another one assured from boxing. This is a new beginning.

Come on Govt...instead of appericiating them after winning medals, start grooming them from now on...make them an asset...give them all the facilities to train...make a small Olympic village in India...the future will look good in Olympics for India.

more to continue in detail...
